How to Troubleshoot Bluetooth Connectivity Problems in Windows

Common Causes 

  • Bluetooth service stopped 
  • Outdated drivers 
  • Device pairing conflicts 

Step-by-Step Solution 

Step 1: Restart Bluetooth Services 

  • Press Windows + R → services.msc 
  • Restart Bluetooth Support Service 

 

Step 2: Turn Bluetooth Off and On 

  • Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices 
  • Toggle Bluetooth Off, wait 10 seconds, then On 

 

Step 3: Remove and Re-Pair Device 

  • In Bluetooth & devices, select the device 
  • Click Remove device 
  • Re-add the device and pair again 

 

Step 4: Update Bluetooth Driver 

  • Open Device Manager → Bluetooth 
  • Right-click adapter → Update driver
