How to Use Windows Safe Mode to Diagnose Boot Problems

Step-by-Step Solution 

Step 1: Enter Safe Mode 

  • Force restart 2–3 times 
  • Select Advanced options → Troubleshoot → Startup Settings → Restart 
  • Press 4 for Safe Mode or 5 for Safe Mode with Networking 

 

Step 2: Identify the Issue 

  • Check if problem occurs in Safe Mode
